Drawings

Tall buildings and other city landmark structures are a rich source of shapes and patterns.
Each may have its unique character, but the building blocks at the heart of their designs
share many similarities. Just as with architectural designs, my drawings begin with the intersection
of two lines – a simple cross. More lines are added, horizontal and vertical planes form,
creating perspective. Quite naturally, geometric shapes are created, and often structurally sound designs emerge! At times my pen keeps moving, extending the boundaries further.
Without even a set square to hand, complete cityscapes and skylines can appear.

 Where intuition leads, form follows.
